Spring 22 ORC Week Two: Mood Board & Product Links

Happy week two of the One Room Challenge! If you’ve been following my stories on Instagram, you might have seen our recent double wallpaper discovery. This isn’t the first time we’ve found a second layer of wallpaper hiding underneath the one we just removed (we had the same situation in our breakfast nook). Even though it makes the removal process longer, we’re getting through it and still can’t wait to see how it looks when it’s all down.

This week I’m sharing more about the inspiration behind the design of this room and links to shop everything below:

Since I’ll be working in here most days, I wanted to create a space I love spending time in. Neutral colors are my happy place and the Georgie Rug, which was so kindly gifted to us by Loloi, was the perfect color inspiration to base the entire room design around.

This is our first time partnering with Clare and they’ve been amazing to work with! They provided us with their Whites & Lights and No-Fail Neutrals Swatch Kits which made selecting a paint color incredibly easy. We instantly loved the warmth of Whipped and know it’ll be a great neutral canvas for the whole room.

Another important element to me in designing a space I love is greenery. Live plants add so much, and with the east and south facing windows in this room, there’s plenty of sunlight for plants to thrive. We loved partnering with Loop Living on our Fall 2021 One Room Challenge makeover and were so happy they wanted to partner with us again. Their planters are works of art and the window nook felt like the perfect place to display their hanging planter. I can’t wait to plant jasmine in it and have that incredible scent filling the room!

Adding artwork is my favorite way to complete a space, and Juniper Print Shop always has so many beautiful options to choose from. I love that they have coordinating duos that look amazing displayed side by side or above and below each other. Their Roots I & II series was exactly what I was looking for as the finishing touch to the neutral home office of my dreams.

Next week we’ll be sharing our room progress with the wallpaper fully removed. Hopefully we’ll have the carpet pulled up by then too!
