Summer Bedroom Refresh with Coyuchi

Hot summer days are here already, and it’s a great time to give your bedroom a refresh for the new season. Coyuchi has been one of our favorites for years, and we love our cloud brushed organic flannel bedding during the winter. With the weather warming up, though, we wanted something a little more airy. Coyuchi was kind enough to send us their new organic crinkled percale bedding for our bedroom refresh, and it inspired me to make a few more changes around our room. Here’s a little tour of what’s new!

Thank you so much to Coyuchi for gifting our beautiful new bedding and being such a big part of our room refresh!

When I saw this hazel chambray duvet cover, I knew it would be the perfect neutral color in our bedroom. It adds so much visual warmth to the space while keeping us nice and cool on hot summer nights. The organic crinkled percale sheets come in 8 different colors, which made it hard to choose because they’re all so pretty! We ended up going with the undyed color with hazel-rosehip stripes to add a little subtle pattern to our room, and the combination with the duvet cover is absolutely stunning!

Our new bed frame from CB2 is one I’ve had my eye on for almost a year. The modern style is similar to our previous bed frame which is now in our guest room, but it has a headboard and sits a little lower to the ground. We weren’t expecting it to be quite so low, but after having it in our room for a few days and getting used to it, we really like the lower profile.

Our nightstands are from West Elm and add a little more mid-century modern style into our room, which we’re both big fans of. I really like having two drawers that aren’t as deep for organization. I can still keep plenty of things nearby without it becoming a complete mess in one big drawer.

If you follow along with me on Instagram, you might have seen on stories recently that I was in search of lamps for our nightstands. It was a challenge, but I absolutely love the modern ceramic style lamp we found at Anthropologie. It’s currently on backorder, so I was only able to snag one at the store for now. Still, it’s worth the wait even if the second one won’t be here until September.

Another addition you probably noticed right away is the olive tree in the corner of our room! We have a few Arbequina olive trees from Fast Growing Trees around our house, and after wanting to for a while, I finally brought one upstairs into our room. Along with our hanging heart leaf philodendron and a few other small plants, our room feels so much more alive now with some greenery!

We added a little bench to our dormer window corner, and it’s quickly become everyone’s favorite. I looked all over for benches but ultimately wanted something minimal and affordable, and this one from Target was the perfect size. This corner which was previously empty now feels so much cozier with just a few additions.
